The Expendables 2.

 “The Expendables” follows a team of mercenaries who have been given the assignment of taking out a corrupt military leader, as well as a rouge CIA agent on a Latin Island”. With a plot like that, it is not hard to see why it was so successful. If you were a fan of the first movie you will be happy to know that “The Expendables 2” is set to hit the big screens on the 17^th August 2012.

 It looks as if it will contain just as much action as the first installment and still includes all of the biggest names in action, such as Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone. Arnold Schwarzenegger will even be taking part in an action sequence, as opposed to the short speaking role he held in the first movie. However, there is one actor missing that for me would make the movie complete. Steven Segal. He is the original action hero, he is a real life martial arts expert and the last time I saw him on TV, he was teaching someone how to become a cop. That’s right Steven Segal is a member of the real life police force. That being said it still looks set to be one of the best actions movies of the year.

The story follows Mr. Church as he sets out to reunite his team of mercenaries for an easy paycheck. However the mission was not as simple as they first thought, and to the teams anger one of them is killed in action. The team’s priority changes from making cash, to seeking revenge, and in my opinion this is the recipe for one incredibly action packed movie.

If action movies are your thing, you may be also interested to know that 2012 will also bring the much-anticipated “The Dark Knight Rises” as well as the third men in black movie. It’s going to be a great year for action!
