Teaching is not just something you do when you feel like it. This is a special call to people with a passion to share knowledge and put that knowledge into good use. A lot of teachers leave their positions in at least 2 years or even 4. The reason is that they just came to do a job. No passion. No calling. Then, there are those who last almost a lifetime in this profession. They see the need to educate and give their lives selflessly for this cause.

Despite this, there is still a great need for more teachers. The good thing is a teaching career can now be available for a lot of people through various means. The need for quality teachers is continuously rising everywhere and every nation.

It is a good thing that there are a lot of institutions such as universities, colleges, community colleges and online colleges that cater to the education industry. Now, it is up to you to decide if you want to take on the challenge of becoming a teacher.

       Every time you get into your class room and shut the door, you are the only one who controls the work space. No one else. You get to enlighten the students in a way that you believe is best for them. Yes you have a syllabus to comply but you actually have authority on what happens in the room. Wow, this is like being the king of the office!

       One great advantage of being a teacher is getting to have enough time for your family. There are always weekends of and this is just the right time for you to attend to personal stuff and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. This is fantastic and can work out really well for those with children.

      No matter what kind of pressure teaching students would bring, there is a natural anti-aging therapy that goes with it. When you are with young people, you actually feel like you are also one of them. Or if not, you would still feel young getting into the vibe of the younger folks in the class.
